Digital Emporium only distributes products from a legal and traceable source, which has the full support of the manufacturer. We strongly oppose the black and the gray market, and we recommend everyone to do so.
We may also supply products with damaged or unsealed package, products with decreased value. These products may have a decreased warranty period, if so, it is always indicated.
Our products may have 1-5 year warranty period or lifetime warranty.
(For the warranty period of individual products, please ask our customer service, or check your warranty certificate.)
Some of our own distribution have instant post-examination exchange guarantee. If the product is not on stock, we immediately order the replacement. We are quite flexible about this, you may exchange your product to a completely different one.
If you have a new delivery on the way there is no return fee: returning products for warranty exchange is free, but returned product should be market for easy identification.
Please consider these further conditions:
- We only support and grant service privileges to our registered partners and their customers.
- We rarely grant warranty for products over their warranty period.
- Should we not be able to exchange or fix the warranty product within 30 days the product may be exchanged for its current new price at our shop. End users can get a replacement certificate.
- Our company sales consumer electronics and computer parts and components, so we only accept the special malfunctioning component for repair, not the whole computer. We don’t have the capacity to scan computers for possible malfunctions, so we accept desktop pc-s for service after an initial talk-over with our service personnel.
- We rarely accept products that have their own official service center. These products should be taken to their official service centers with their warranty certificates. We may be able to replace the manufacturer’s warranty certificate within 10 days, but keeping the certificate is the customers responsibility.
- In particular cases, the manufacturer may require the end user invoice of the product even from retailer partners. Failing to provide the invoice excludes the product from warranty.
We always need the following for the warranty procedure:
- Warranty certificate and invoice by Digital Emporium or retailer.
- Exact description of the malfunction.
- Name, address, and a telephone number.
Exclusion from warranty
- If the product has extreme corrosion, chemical or physical damage.
- Damaged or unreadable serial number.
- Special conditions for hard drives: Seagate Western digital, Hitachi, Toshiba
Instant exchange
Some of our products have instant exchange programs. These products will be exchanged instantly if the malfunction in the warranty period. These manufacturers offer instant exchange: GEIL, Enermax, Arctic colling, Silicon Power, Genesis, ZAlman, Phottix, Vanguard.
